Help Neuqua Valley fight cancer by being a part of our inaugural Pickleball Tournament.

Teams must consist of 2 or 3 players.  The cost is $50 per team.  Three different leagues available.

Learn about Us

The Neuqua Valley High School Physical Education, Health Education and Driver Education Department have organized the Tom Schlegel 5K Run for over 11 years in memory of one of our Department's great teachers.  Now we wish to expand this event so that we can work toward donations for all cancer research.  We want to remember and honor all cancer survivors, those who are fighting cancer and loved ones we have lost.

RESEARCH

Most of your registration and participation of this event is a donation to the American Cancer Society.

SCHOLARSHIPS

A portion of all monies raised goes toward the Tom Schlegel, Live Your Legacy Scholarship fund.  Every year, students who are going into a physical or medical field can apply for a scholarship that we award at the end of each school year.

FITNESS

Remaining funds are saved and used to support the Tom Schlegel Fitness Center. This room is a lasting memory of Tom and others who put fitness at the forefront of increasing the health of students.

How it Works

The pickleball tournament consists of 3 leagues (student, adult, open).  There are a total of 32 teams for each league.  Teams can consist of 2 or 3 players.  Each team registration costs $50.  

Anyone wishing to be a part of both the open league as well as one of the others, may do so, but must pay the team fee for each.

The student league is available to middle school and high school students.  The adult league is for people 19 year of age and older.  The open league is for all ages or mixed ages.

TEAM

Make a team of 2 or 3 players and decide on a name.  3rd player can be alternate, rotate in or cheerleader.

SIGNUP

Each player must register individually on Pushcoin and use their team name by January 31, 2025.

PLAY

You will receive information on when to show up February 23rd.  Every team is guaranteed 3 games.
