Your $50 will get you and the other members on your team a t-shirt of the event as well a guarantee that you and your team will get to play a minimum of 3 games. Plus, you are donating to a FANTASTIC cause.
Teams will be assigned to games that must start at a set and scheduled time. All games are 10 minutes long (no more, no less). Rally scoring will be used, meaning that after every serve someone will get a point. At the end of 10 minutes, both teams will report the game results to a court reporter. Regardless of score, teams will play till the end of 10 minutes to dtermine the winner.
Here's a video to help you understand how the game of pickelball is played.

In 2006, we lost an incredible teacher to cancer, Tom Schlegel. He would use the saying "Live your legacy" and he meant that we need to make sure everything we do will be something for others to cherish and remember. We feel that as we transition the Tom Schlegel 5K run to this new event we want to still ahve a piece of Tom represented as part of his legacy and we hope that your understand that your signing up will leave a legacy of hope for others.
We will be having games play by using the USA Pickleball Rules. One difference to note is that we will be using rally scoring and 10 minute games. You can find a copy of the USA Pickle rules here.
